Side deals

An interesting feature of many daily-deal sites is "Side deals".
At first, it looks strange: isn't there supposed to be one and only one
"Deal of the day" so it gets full coverage? Well, clearly there is a
need for more than one deal. As soon as the demand from merchants goes higher, you cannot let all of them wait for the only daily deal spot. And then side deals come to save a day.
Side deals greatly increase your site capacity, as you are no more limited to running one deal at a time. At the same time, the feeling of the "one main deal of the day" is still preserved, so it still stands out and shines in visitor's attention.
With Getsocio you can experiment with side deals and run multiple deals or you may get back to the strict one-deal-per-day rule. Any extra deals you add are shown on sidebar until their end date is reached. Only those deals marked as "main" trigger daily email sent to your subscribers.
